Completing this process in advance will help ensure a smoother and quicker admission experience.

ON THE DAY OF ADMISSION
Remember to Bring:

Medical aid card

Authorization documentation

Names and contact numbers of family members

Chronic medication or a list of the medication you are taking.

Wear comfortable clothing and bring toiletries
No Eating or Drinking - Please remember that if you are scheduled to undergo surgery, you must refrain from eating or drinking. Please confirm with your doctor when to start fasting.
Leave Valuables at Home. We cannot be held responsible for any loss of, or damage to items.

Bring glasses/contact lenses and case, walkers/crutches, hearing aids/dentures if needed.
You will need to provide us with your medical history which include information about previous hospitalization, illnesses, operations, and allergies.
Bring radiology images and reports if applicable.
One visitor per adult patient will be allowed and two visitors per patient under the age of 18 years will be allowed.
DISCHARGE
Healthcare team members will discuss your discharge instructions with you to ensure seamless care and recovery.
Confirm follow-up appointment, wound care and medication.
Your doctor will give you a prescription for medication to be taken at home if required.
There is a Dischem Pharmacy next to the hospital open between 09:00 until 18:00 on weekdays. Alternatively, you can visit a Pharmacy of your choice.
